Dr. Raheleh Tarani (Ph.D, Reg. Provisional Psychologist)

As a compassionate mental health professional, Dr. Tarani has over 15 years of experience working in various treatment and educational settings. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their health and healing goals and utilizes an integrative approach to mental health care to ensure that her clients receive personalized treatment that addresses their unique needs and circumstances.

Dr. Tarani holds graduate (PhD. and MSc) and undergraduate degrees in Psychology, as well as a postgraduate certificate degree in Guidance and Counselling from reputable accredited universities in Iran, India, and the USA. She has also received extensive training in various mental health, special needs, and public health-related fields. Currently, she is a Registered Provisional Psychologist certified by the College of Alberta Psychologists and a member of the Psychological Association of Alberta.

Highly skilled in various therapeutic interventions, Dr. Tarani is proficient in cognitive-behavioral therapies, solution-focused therapies, psychoeducational interventions, behavior management, biofeedback, and neurofeedback techniques.

Dr. Tarani's enriched understanding of diversity and ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Turkish, Farsi (Persian), Urdu, Hindi, Panjabi, and Japanese, in addition to English, enable her to provide culturally sensitive therapy to diverse populations dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, grief, developmental delays, sleep disturbances, eating disorders, injury or trauma-related chronic pain etc.
